French President Emmanuel Macron has appointed ministers for the country's new government. According to Xinhua news agency, Macron made the appointment on Friday.
The new government has a total of 27 members, including 17 ministries, representatives of six ministries and four secretaries of state.
French news BFMTV reported, Macron nominated Elisabeth Borne as prime minister on May 16. The new government will hold its first cabinet meeting on May 23 in Elysee.
“The coming years will certainly be difficult, but they will be historic and we will have to write them together for a new generation,”Macron added later.
